WFM Implementation Consultant

Seeking an experienced WFM professional with configuration, testing and implementation of WFM products into large complex client sites.

As a global cloud company, our client provides human capital management technology solutions to its corporate clients. It assists employees with all HR solutions, from areas such as ensuring accurate HR data is maintained, paid on time, career development, payrolling, cost control, workforce planning etc.

Due to continued growth they are now seeking to employ experienced Implementation Consultants to join their growing team. As an Implementation Consultant, you will participate in all stages of the implementation lifecycle (discovery, configuration, testing, deployment, post go-live support), under the direction of the Project Manager, and may lead one or more activities.
 
Project responsibilities include; gathering customer requirements, configuring the software solution to meet documented customer requirements, setting and managing customer expectations, providing guidance to Consultants, identifying risks and communicating issues to the Project Manager.  

Your key responsibilities will be to:

  • Provide Implementation Services to Customers
  • Document and validate customer’s business requirements and map to Ceridian functionality
  • Configure application to meet customer’s documented business requirements
  • Conduct consulting sessions (on the phone and in-person) and document with meeting minutes
  • Attend internal project meetings and provide status on progress of activities and deliverables
  • Provide customers with follow-up consulting and general assistance in areas of expertise
  • Be a “go-to” resource for specific functional areas for both internal and external users
  • Contribute to internal Implementation initiatives
  • Document solutions and contribute to a solutions repository
  • Contribute to internal knowledge share; review posted feedback on a continuous basis and respond to questions
  • Participate in Continuing Education sessions
  • Complete new release training on a timely basis; be fully versed on new and/or enhanced functionality in each product release

Ideally you will have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years’ experience in a Software Implementation role or 2+ years of experience in a Time & Attendance/Rostering, HR, Payroll Software role.
  • Experience with Australian Awards / Union Agreements / EBA’s highly regarded
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products
  • Experience with software in a SaaS / Cloud computing environment.
  • Basic understanding of relational databases and SQL an asset
  • Understanding of common human capital management (HCM) business practices
  • Understanding of different industries and how software can be applied to support customer’s business practices
